What is Video Sage?

Video Sage is an AI-powered tool that performs deep, automated analysis of your videos to surface insights, hooks, interpretations, and effectiveness signals—helping you refine your creatives.

Higher-resolution inputs produce richer analyses. Keep files under your workspace’s upload limit for best performance.

How to use Video Sage?

Steps

  1. Go to IQ → Video Sage on the dashboard.

  1. The window is split into two panes:

    • Analyze New Creatives (above)

  • Previously Analyzed Creatives (below)

  1. To analyze a new video from your computer, click Upload from Computer, find your file, and Select.

  1. If the video already exists in your library, click Upload from Library and select it.

  1. Click Analyze Video.

✅ Video Sage processes your file and generates a full analysis you can review and iterate on.

For side-by-side learning, run multiple variants (e.g., different hooks or intros) and compare their Hook and Framework sections to see what actually moves the needle.

What sections does a Video Sage analysis contain?

  • Video Brief A concise summary of the video’s content.

  • Video Captions A description/preview of the captions detected or generated for the video.

  • Hooks High-impact moments and takeaways, including:
    • The main hook of the ad
    • The psychological principle being leveraged
    • The key advantages the ad offers

  • Breakdown (Timeline Prompts) A timestamped timeline of the audio prompts and messages delivered through the ad.

  • Marketing Framework Analysis A critical evaluation of the marketing principles and frameworks underpinning the ad’s strategy.
